Director & Principal Mining Engineer

James is a seasoned mining engineer with expertise spanning various technical, operational, and project-related roles. He has worked in operations in both Australia and PNG across a number of commodities including gold, copper, uranium and iron ore.

His background includes management of mine planning and strategic planning functions, development of assets through the entire life cycle from the conceptual study phase to operational realisation, including operational restarts. His expertise extends to conducting technical due diligence reviews, strategic assessments, mine planning and facilitating change management initiatives.

James is a collaborator, with a passion for uncovering the hidden opportunities in mining projects through a unique understanding of the mining value chain. He has a track record of developing pathways which bring opportunities to book for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Michael hogg

Director & Principal Mining Engineer

Michael is an experienced mining engineer and highly skilled resource development professional. A self-confessed technologist, Michael has a track record of configuring mining studies and operations in a manner which delivers maximum potential value through the utilisation of bespoke planning tools and innovative technology solutions.

His background includes roles in technical services management, mine planning, resource development for large scale development projects, operational restarts and technical due diligence to inform mergers and acquisitions functions.

Michael integrates seamlessly into multidisciplinary teams, allowing him to challenge business paradigms and drive change in project and operational contexts. Pragmatic by nature, his understanding of strategic intent enables him to architect solutions that synchronize business aspirations with realities.
